The latest improvement is a 3.25mm new improved induction base and an improved pressure regulating system that controls a narrower, more efficient range of pressure, reduces germination of frothy foods (such as lentils) and is easier to insert and remove. The safety valve lid is located under the handle bar so that the steam is safely deflected downwards when it works. The gasket has minimal exposure to steam inside the cooker, does not rub every time the product is opened and closed - so lasts for a long time. Keep cool handles. Fixed strong pivot does not put pressure on the plastic handle as it is part of the metal handle. Thus the handles last longer. Recommended for use on gas, electric, halogen, ceramic and induction cooktops.
