Overview
The Golden Care Instant Grey Teak Colour Protector turns brown teak & hardwoods into a driftwood-grey colour. It helps maintain the grey colour of teak and other hardwoods for a longer time.
Golden Care products are water-based and non-greasy. They do not contain hazardous VOCs, helping to provide better outdoor air quality compared to similar traditional care & cleaning products.
It is strongly recommended to treat the surface with Golden Care Teak & Hardwood Water-Repellent Shield to prevent stains after applying this protector.

Instructions for Use
Before using this product, eye protection and rubber gloves should be worn. Cover the ground under your work area before starting.
Before using the instant grey on new teak, put the furniture outside to weather for a week or first clean the teak with Golden Care Teak & Hardwood Cleaner & Colour Restorer
Before using the instant grey on dark grey teak, clean the wood with Golden Care Teak & Hardwood Cleaner & Colour Restorer. If cleaned wood feels rough, sand lightly before treating with instant grey. Make sure the teak is 100% dry and free of dust.
Hold closed bottle upside down and shake for at least one minute.
We suggest you try the instant grey on a small area first (e.g. the back of a leg) to judge if the colour meets your expectations.
Apply a thin layer of instant grey with a soft cloth.
Allow to dry for 1 hour and then the wood has turned driftwood-grey. (When you wish to have a more intense grey colour, apply a second thin layer).
Always treat your teak furniture immediately afterwards with Golden Care Hardwood & Teak Water-Repellent Shield. Repeat this once per year.

Your order will be delivered to your front door (ground floor only) or loading dock (in the case of multi-story). Deliveries cannot be made to underground car parks as the trucks cannot negotiate these. You may be required to assist the delivery driver with unloading the items from the delivery vehicle. We recommend inviting someone over to help. If you are unable, or unwilling, to provide such assistance, please contact us prior to proceeding with your order. Assistance may be available for an additional fee. Please note, where you have agreed a day of delivery with us and/or the carrier, and you are not available, or unwilling to accept the goods, you agree to accept any detention, demurrage, return shipping, restocking, and redelivery charges associated with such delays.
For non-bulky items, please allow 1-12 business days.
Deliveries may be left in a place deemed secure by the carrier if no one is available to accept the package. Signature on delivery is not required for service provided by these carriers. Otherwise, the carrier will leave a card advising you to schedule a new delivery or alternatively amend your delivery address.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
FurnitureOkay warrants the FurnitureOkay-branded product against defects in materials and workmanship when used in the usual course and for its intended purpose for a period of TWO (2) YEARS from the date of original purchase by the end-user purchaser.
FurnitureOkay's Limited Warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement product for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety (90) days, whichever period is longer.
FurnitureOkay's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not FurnitureOkay branded, even if packaged or sold with FurnitureOkay products. Non-FurnitureOkay branded products may have the benefit of a manufacturer's warranty provided by the product manufacturer. Please see your product box and literature for details.
This Warranty does not apply:
(a) to damage caused by normal wear and tear, including fading, stains and discolouration, or otherwise due to the normal aging of the product;
(b) to damage due to improper use, cleaning, maintenance, treatment, storage or otherwise caused by your acts or omissions;
(c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external cause;
(d) to variation in colours, inclusion of impurities and unfilled cavities or other imperfections in stone tiles;
(e) to variation in colours and finish, inclusion of knots and patches in timber products;
(f) to any movement, cracking or bowing in timber as a result of change in humidity or fluctuating temperatures;
(g) to any defects in products which we brought to your attention when you purchased the product;
(h) to products that are marked Refurbished or Clearance.
