Overview
GME AE4012K2 is a rugged, high-performance antenna whip with elevated feed to suit Australia's harsh conditions. When mounting options are limited, or you prefer not to put a hole in the centre of your roof, then the elevated feed style of antenna suits the best. This version includes a parallel style stainless steel spring below the ABL002 elevated feed base for greater durability. The sturdy 2.5mm wire diameter stainless steel coil whip is secured to the top of the elevated feed making this antenna a great all-round performer.
As with all stainless steel whips of this style, it is not recommended for installation on diesel 4WD vehicles.
Is the GME AE4012K2 Antenna Right for me?
Alongside considerations of Installation requirements, you need to consider the Gain Rating of your Antenna and how it will impact your use.
The AE4012K2 from GME is a 6.6dBi/medium-gain antenna, Providing a more rounded, broader pattern than a high gain (8.1dBi) antenna or unity gain antenna (2.1dBi). Meaning the signal is less likely to be obstructed by obstacles such as buildings, trees or mountains. These factors make a medium gain antenna the best choice for those in suburban areas and the countryside.

At RYDA, we understand that your order is delivered promptly and with the utmost care; we use Star Track Express and Australia Post with a signature. If no one is home, your delivery will normally be redirected to the Local Australia Post Office for collection over the counter with a Photo ID. Please note that bulky deliveries over 5kg and in a few areas where it is not possible to redirect to the post office, the parcel may be held at the local courier depot instead. Where possible, our warehouse will try and use recycled cartons for our deliveries, just as safe and sturdy as a new carton but more friendly to the environment.
