Returns
Our Gentec Returns Policy reflects your rights as
a consumer as provided under and subject to
the Australian Consumer Law.
Proof of Purchase
A Copy of proof of purchase (or the order or
Quote) by the customer must be attached to
any claim. Failure to produce the proof or
purchase may affect the warranty of the product
and we reserve the right to reject any return.
Condition for Returns
Credit returns that are agreed to by Gentec in
writing at Gentec’s sole discretion and are not
required under Australian Consumer Law (such
as change of mind), and will incur a minimum of
30% restocking fee. Products/goods that are not
in resalable condition (must be in original
packaging that is undamaged) or that have not
been agreed by Gentec to be returned for credit
within 30 days from the date the relevant
products/goods are delivered to the Customer
will not be accepted for credit.
We do not accept returns, refunds, cancellations
or allow credits for change of mind on any
purchase (including but not limited to custom
orders or project orders in particular), whether
or not the Goods have been dispatched or
delivered.
For special/custom orders there is no refund
credit returns available, other than as required
under the Australian Consumer Law.
Return Merchandise Authority
In all instances you are required to contact
us immediately.
Once a return is authorised by us, you will
be issued with an RMA (Return Merchandise
Authority) number, that must be included with
the returned goods and need to be returned to
the location as per the RMA (Return
Merchandise Authority).
Any goods that are returned without the correct
RMA or without any written authority for return
will not be processed under any circumstances
whatsoever.
SHIPPING For Returns?
The customer is responsible for all return
shipping. Original shipping costs at the time of
the sale cannot be recovered and are nonrefundable.
Defective/Damaged.
Please contact us immediately so we can assist you with your defective claim.
Australian Consumer Law
If any Goods are required under the Australian
Consumer Law to be returned (such as due to
major failure), please also refer to our warranty
process.
Notwithstanding any other provisions to the
contrary, any goods that are not required under
Australian Consumer Law to be returned or
refunded, cannot be REFUNDED, CANCELLED
or RETURNED (including returned for credit) at
any time and must be taken as ordered, unless
otherwise agreed to by Gentec at its sole
discretion.
