If you would like to return the item when there is nothing wrong with the product or services, you need to return it at your own cost. A 20% handling & restocking cost will be deducted from the total price of the transaction before your refund is issued.
There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product you purchased from our store:
1. You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you receive it.
2. Please ensure that the item you’re returning is repackaged with all of the accessories and documentation that were sent with the original order.
3. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless we made an error with your order or the product was faulty.
In the unlikely event that Gadget & Gear Australia, sends you an item that is not what you ordered, please contact us within 2 days of receiving the item, so that we can rectify this for you.
Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within seven business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be available into your account.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
