Tween 80 +Vitamin E Oil is a nonionic polysorbate blend. Its nonionic properties and emulsified texture allow it to be utilized in any Salon process without interrupting the function of the working chemicals and the end result of the service.
The inclusion of Tween 80 + Vitamin E Oil in any permanent wave solution, bleach, tint or toner reduces the sensitivity to the chemical service.
Tween 80+Vitamin E Oil has a light molecular weight; it actually forms a protective layer of oil droplets between the scalp and the product. The chemicals rest on Tween 80+Vitamin E oil rather than on the scalp.
Tween 80+Vitamin E oil may be used by stylists with sensitive hands during permanent waving or relaxing. Just rub a little on the hands prior to the beginning of service. This also prevents excessive discoloration due to tint formulations.
If the client's skin is susceptible to discoloration, Tween 80+Vitamin E oil may be applied directly to the areas which may be affected. Applying Tween 80+Vitamin E oil before chemical services aids in the prevention of blisters, burns and breaks in the skin.
RECOMMENDED USE OF TWEEN 80+VITAMIN E OIL
1/2 tablespoon to permanent wave lotion, bleach, tints or toners.
Mix thoroughly to remove build - up of hair sprays, glycerine and synthetic polymers. Apply Tween 80+Vitamin E Oil to wet hair, distribute evenly. Place plastic bag over client's hair and put client under hot dryer for 10 to 15 minutes.
