Battery Care and Safety Instructions for the Fatfish Fat Tyre E-Bike (48V 17Ah)
Use the Correct Charger: Always use the charger specifically designed for this battery. Using the wrong charger can cause damage or unsafe conditions.
Avoid disassembling: Do not attempt to disassemble the battery under any circumstances.
Prevent Short Circuits: Never short-circuit the battery connections to avoid damage or hazardous situations.
Disconnect After Charging: Do not leave the charger permanently connected. Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger promptly.
Store Properly: Do not store the battery in extreme temperatures (either very hot or very cold) or in high-humidity conditions. Choose a dry, cool place for storage.
Safe Charging Location: Always ensure the battery and charger are placed on a non-flammable, dry surface, away from heat sources, humidity, or flammable materials.
Stop Use if Damaged: If the battery is damaged, deformed, or emits a strong odour, stop using it immediately and consult an expert.
Regular Recharging: Even if not in use, recharge the battery at least once a month to maintain its health.
Power Off When Not in Use: Always turn off the power and remove the key (sold with the battery) when the e-bike is not in use for an extended period.
This battery is designed for the Fatfish Fat Tyre E-Bike (48V 17Ah) and is not compatible with the Step Thru model.
