Cordyceps mushrooms were originally taken by the mountain people of Tibet who used them to increase physical stamina, support the respiratory system, and strengthen kidney function. Described over 1000 years ago for its libido-enhancing effects. Studies have found they can boost energy and oxygen use during exercise. It is a primary JING herb and is believed to be a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Research has demonstrated promising findings relating to anti-aging.

The quality of our raw materials is critical, and we ensure we consistently use the very best Cordyceps militaris that have been ethically and sustainably sourced. We source from an organic farm in Inner Mongolia which is then extracted using a dual hot water process (no alcohol used) to maximize the beneficial polysaccharides (β-glucans). We have full traceability to where the mushrooms are grown and harvested all year round.

We use 100% fruiting bodies which have the highest level and variety of polysaccharides, triterpenes, and phenolic compounds. The Organic Cordyceps militaris Mushroom Extract Powder includes an 8:1 Native Extract Ratio > 15% β-glucans.

Importantly, use no fillers or excipients. The blends are manufactured using a patented membrane filtration process to preserve the maximum level of active components from the mushrooms; it also allows the liquid concentrate to be spray-dried without using a carrier. Other mushroom extract powders in the market typically contain a high percentage of the carrier (maltodextrin, starch).
