For easy maintenance, wet the bar and inside of the grip with rubbing alcohol or window cleaner, then slide the grip onto the bar from the opposite side. Cut grips with sharp tools, leaving a 1/8" extra length. Chunky style offers a smooth shift transition. Wash with your bike and restore tackiness; non-porous silicone makes cleaning residue easy with rubbing alcohol, cleaner, or acetone.
