These MAX-type bearings offer a remarkable 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this elevated load capacity involves a specialized design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing. By adding extra balls and implementing deep race grooves, these bearings offer heightened lateral support, effectively managing the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots.
This ABEC-3 bearing is equipped with deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum protection against external elements. It retains a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease, maintaining optimal functionality. Moreover, this bearing features an extended inner race that eliminates the necessity for additional spacers to connect suspension linkages.
