Over two decades ago, Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX-type bearings specifically tailored for bicycles, targeting the challenges linked to mountain bike pivots. These innovative bearings deliver a 35-40% surge in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. This enhanced capacity is achieved by employing a distinctive design that optimizes the insertion of the maximum number of balls into the bearing through a custom ground slot in the races. Alongside this feature, the bearings include deep race grooves to significantly boost lateral support, crucial for handling the twisting and multi-directional forces inherent in mountain bike pivots. Featuring ABEC-3 specifications, these bearings encompass deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals. This construction ensures top-notch protection against external elements while retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside.

This specific bearing size has served as a suspension pivot bearing for leading brands such as Devinci Cycles and Intense.

Our extensive Enduro bearing line comprises variants crafted from high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Each bearing is meticulously engineered, incorporating races with the deepest possible grooves to accommodate larger balls.
