Over two decades ago, Enduro Bearings revolutionized the biking industry with their MAX-type bearings tailored for mountain bike pivots. These specialized bearings offer a remarkable 35-40% higher load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. The innovative design involves optimizing the number of balls inserted into the bearing via a custom ground slot in the races. Deep race grooves further fortify these bearings, providing exceptional lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces common in mountain bike pivots. The ABEC-3 MAX-type bearing boasts deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals. These features ensure maximum defence against environmental elements, retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease within. Additionally, the Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating heightens corrosion resistance, extending the bearing's performance and reliability.

Notably, various bicycle brands, including Ibis, have utilized this bearing as a suspension pivot bearing.

Enduro's bearing lineup comprises high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 options with ceramic or stainless balls.
