An emergency spitfire is designed to illuminate during a power failure, providing occupants of said building with a clear and visual route to safety. They are suitable to be installed within homes and offices in hallways and paths to exits.

This particular model is a surface mount version, for use where you are unable to recess within the ceiling. Such examples would be installation on concrete ceilings or on ceilings with no cavity. You can also hang them with the use of a rod mount kit (sold seperately) handy for situations such as installation in factory units with high ceilings.
