These beautiful Colombian-style double hammocks are made from 100% cotton, offering comfort and relaxation in it purest form. These hammocks are tightly woven with high quality cotton thread to prevent colours from running. They are hand-woven in the traditional handlooms with the cords made from braided cotton ropes. The long fibres of our cotton fabrics make them extra soft and durable, allowing colours to shine brightly. High-quality cotton with long fibres: soft to the touch, lint-free, durable, and easy to clean. Colombian hammocks have plaits extended from the hammock body itself to distribute the weight, called cadejos. Colombian hammocks are more durable and unique-looking than typical Brazilian hammocks and have open-end loops, while Brazilian ones have closed-end loops. Open-end loops are more stable and easy to hang than the closed-end loops They can be hung from a stand, walls, trees or posts etc using a range of different hanging accessories. The most suitable stands for these hammocks are the 10 foot Universal Hammock Stands that come in both Black and White. They can however, also be used with the 14 FT Wooden Arc Stands. Although many authentic, traditional hammocks are made in Colombia and Brazil, Pacific Hammocks also works with a specially selected factory in India. This factory is run by people who strongly believe in the empowerment of women, and promoting job opportunities for women in both urban areas and the countryside. Two rural villages have been adopted as a result of this fantastic vision, and jobs provided for 60 local women. These Brazilian-style hammocks are proudly made by these talented Indian artisans.

PACIFIC HAMMOCKS offers 3rd party delivery for the purchase of any hammock(s), hammock chair(s), or stand(s) within Australia.

We try our best to process and dispatch all orders within 2 business days of payment being received (Mon-Fri). Insurance is included in all our deliveries. Once shipped, an email will be sent to your provided email address which will include the name of the courier and your tracking number. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder or contact us. Orders can be tracked on the courier’s website. Occasionally, orders may be shipped in separate packages. In this case, you will receive multiple tracking numbers.

Delivery times vary according to destination/postcode. They typically take between 1 and 7 business days. We utilise Australia Post, Allied, Aramex, Couriers Please and others for deliveries. Ideally, a physical delivery address should be provided as opposed to a PO Box. Most products cannot be delivered to a PO Box (due to size) and we may request you to provide a street address after your order should you initially provide a PO Box as your delivery address. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

A Full refund is available on any product within 30 days of receipt of your order. The below conditions apply :

If your return is in anyway as a result of an error by PACIFIC HAMMOCKS, we will provide you with a prepaid mailing label to return the merchandise and will happily refund all applicable shipping costs paid on the product(s) you are returning, once we have received the goods.

If the return is not as a result of an error by PACIFIC HAMMOCKS, you will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred for the order and any costs associated with returning the item(s).

No refunds will be available after the 30 day period has expired.

No refunds are available for orders that are still being delivered. You’re entitled to a refund for your order, which we can provide once any of the following has been confirmed :

The delivery is confirmed as lost or destroyed by the couriers.
The delivery is returned to the sender by the couriers.
The delivery is returned to the sender by the customer, unopened.

In late delivery cases, 99% of packages end up being delivered to the customer. If your item(s) is eventually delivered and you do not want it, please reject/refuse the delivery and the courier will return it to sender.

WARRANTIES

PACIFIC HAMMOCKS offers a 12 month guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials. This guarantee means we will replace your Hammock at our expense if it does not meet our high quality standards, please read below.

If for any reason we need to replace your hammock but we do not have the matching colour of your hammock in stock, we will replace it with either another colour in the same size of your hammock or, if we have available the colour of your hammock in a bigger size then we can upgrade it and send a bigger size in that particular colour.

Please note that we won’t REFUND your money for any reason.

DISCLAIMER:
(1) Damage as a result of wild weather including but not limited to strong storm or wind will not be covered – please take the appropriate measure to ensure the hammock is safe from any weather-related damage.
(2) The Guarantee also doesn’t cover any hammock strings accidentally pulled by watches, shoes, back buttons or any other object.
(3) It doesn’t cover negligence or rough treatment by people, animals, birds or other creatures.
(4) The Guarantee doesn’t cover any loss in comfort – please ensure you don’t exceed the weight limit as outlined in the products’ ‘Specifications’.
(5) If you plan to hang your hammock outside in a very sunny location, we recommend that you take the hammock inside after use. This way the hammock will last for many years. Nylon and Outdoor Cotton Hammocks are perfect to hang at undercover outdoor areas. If the hammocks are exposed too much to the sun, the sun will deteriorate the materials and this will not be covered by our Guarantee. If you plan to leave your hammock outdoors all the time, we recommend you to use a hammock protector.
(6) If you live by the sea rinse your hammock regularly to minimise the effect of damage by sea salt.
