It’s not surprising that we have a passion for embroidery. We’ve been manufacturing the World’s favourite embroidery thread, Mouliné Spécial, in the same factory in France since 1898.

Embroidery is like doodling on cloth with thread. It’s a great way to personalise clothes and homewares and create unique works of art. There’s a wealth of embroidery styles and stitches but beginners can create something really beautiful with a few simple stitches. The gentle drawing of thread through fabric and the rhythmic repetition of stitches takes you into a state of flow. Embroidery increases wellbeing, it gives a sense of calm and deep relaxation.
