This coarse food grater is part of Cuisipro's SGT line, meaning it incorporates their patent-pending Surface Glide Technology. Each grater in the SGT product line has shallow grooves along the stainless-steel cutting surface, which are said to provide easier and more numerous cuts. This Cuisipro SGT Coarse Grater is an all-around "workhorse" grater for most cheeses and vegetables. We were impressed with the dual-function plastic cover, which both collects and measures food shavings (see video below).
