Model: SIZZ-RACK
Turn your Sizzler BBQ into a Gas Stove or an Oven
When you are travelling around Australia in your caravan, you need to be aware of your GVM and do your best not to go over. The best way to keep weight down is to try and eliminate things you don't need or purchase items with multiple functionalities. If you have already bought a Sizzler Deluxe gas BBQ for your caravan then you have a piece of cooking equipment that can BBQ, be used as an oven or with the addition of the Cooking Rack for Sizzler BBQs you can turn your BBQ into a Gas stove.
The cooking rack is designed to fit closely over the gas burners so your pots and pans are at the ideal height for maximum heat absorption and improved gas efficiency. It is quite easy to use, all you need to do is remove the hotplate by lifting it from its easy-grip handles and inset the rack. Now you have plenty of room to fit a tray for a slow-cooked roast with the lid closed or you can fit a standard-size frying pan alongside a small pot or pan. Just a side note, if you have inserted the roasting pan and wish to use your BBQ like an oven, only light the front burner and have the pan pushed towards the back of the BBQ. This eliminated any direct heat hitting the pan and ensures you don't burn your food. We also recommend turning your roast halfway through the cook for even cooking all around.
Sizzler Deluxe BBQ Cooking rack specifications:
A large number of BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products are covered for a period of one year from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and materials. Some even come with a 24 month warranty such as Flaming Coals branded rotisserie motors. Please refer to the product's description to check if a warranty is provided for the product.
The product warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of being dropped, exposed to the elements, tampering, mishandling or mis-use such as excessive fire or a motor not being counter-weighted. Stainless steel is not immune to rusting/pitting and is therefore not covered under warranty.
Charcoal pans inside spit roasters are designed to take the brunt of the heat to protect the structural integrity of the spit roaster body. Due to the extreme heat generated when cooking with briquettes/charcoal, some bending of the pan is inevitable and will occur regardless of the thickness of the steel. This is not covered under warranty.
All BBQ Spit Rotisseries' products have been tested and deemed suitable for domestic use only. Using these products commercially voids the warranty. The warranty does not cover postal cost, insurance, incidental charges or any other loss incurred.
