Catan experts will easily recognize that many essential elements of the Catan base game are included in Catan Junior, although - in accordance with the theme - they received different names: pirates' lairs are built adjacent to islands, and if the islands' numbers are rolled, the players receive resource tiles. The resource tiles depict gold, goats, wood, molasses, and cutlasses.
These tiles are used to build ships and more pirates' lairs or to buy development cards (here called \"Coco tiles\"), which are played immediately after their purchase.
To launch a new ship, you need wood and wool from goats. And if you want to build a pirates' lair, besides wood and wool you also need a cutlass and molasses.
The robber - well-known from the Catan base game - also exists in Catan Junior, but here he is a spooky fellow named \"Ghost Captain.\" The Ghost Captain isn't as bad a guy as the robber in the Catan base game. He blocks the resource production of the islands he is placed on, but that's all - nothing is being stolen.
The die-cut resource tiles included in Catan Junior are very convenient for children, because unlike in the Catan game for adults, the players don't have to hold cards in their hands but can place the resource tiles in front of them. Catan Junior can also be played as a 2-player game.
Although Catan Junior contains some simplified rules so that 6-year-olds can participate without any difficulty, it is still unmistakably a \"Catan\" game. Catan Junior is not just a game for kids but a genuine family game, to be enjoyed by adults and young children alike.

Warranty Claims & Returns
Most of our products are supported by a 12 month warranty. This warranty covers all manufacturer faults with the product. Some of our products may have a different warranty period, please check the Australian Warranty card/manual included with the product for details. Should an issue arise with your order, please contact us to raise a warranty claim.
If a product is faulty or damaged, please contact us and our product support team will help you troubleshoot the issue to hopefully save you the hassle of having to return the product. If they're unsuccessful, we will provide a return authorisation & details to have the product repaired, replaced, or refunded depending on the issue.
We test faulty goods to verify reported faults and will attempt to repair your product before replacing or refunding it. However, if the product is found to be working on arrival, you will be charged a re-delivery fee to have it sent back.
We suggest that you check the Manufacturer's/Publisher's website for support and/or patches & updates, to try and resolve your problem before submitting a warranty claim.

All faulty items that are claimed within 30 days of being received will be provided a free return shipping label.
Change of Mind Returns Policy
30 Days, Buyer pays for return postage.
We offer full refunds (minus original shipping costs) on unopened goods when returned within 30 days of being received.
Any returns found to have been opened, used, or damaged will not be eligible for a full refund or exchange and will be assessed by our team to determine eligibility for a partial refund. If the outcome of this assessment is not agreed upon by the customer within 30 days of being received by us, the product will be considered abandoned, and we will dispose of it.
Refunds Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
