Capercaillie Hunter Valley Shiraz 2022
This Shiraz fruit was sourced from selected old vines in the Western Hunter district. Grown in red alluvial soil with prominent limestone which gives the defining characters for our classic Hunter Shiraz. Pronounced aromas of cherry ripe chocolate, blackberry, rhubarb and forest berries continue on the palate along with spices of vanilla and white pepper supported by silky, refined tannins. Enjoy with mature vintage cheddar, beef cheek and red wine jus. With suitable cellaring 7 – 10 years.
Capercaillie Hunter Chardonnay 2022
Our Chardonnay is proudly produced from estate grown fruit. Harvested from our oldest block of 50 year old low yielding vines. Fermented and matured in 10% new French oak and 90% in 5 year old hogshead casks. Pronounced pineapple juice, ripe lime, sweet corn kernel, subtle oak and many other delicious aromas delight. So wonderful complex with mouth-watering acidity and a delicate, clean finish. Enjoy now with chicken schnitzel and garlic prawns, creamy pasta or carefully cellar for a medium term.
Children of the Revolution Rose 2022
A blushing rose that is lighter in style but lacking none of the flavour. It's go vibrant berry aromas and a hint of strawberries and cream that is immediately enticing. The palate is vital and fresh with sweet berry fruit and a bust of cleansing acidity. Best served chilled with a cheese platter and good company.
St Huberts Stag Shiraz Tempranillo 2021
Quintessentially Victorian, St Hubert's the Stag wines are made in a classic cool climate style. Picked at optimum ripeness, a blend of around 57% Tempranillo - Spain’s most famous grape variety, around 31% Shiraz – the workhorse of the Australian industry (and a dab of Graciano in the mix).
Children of the Revolution Pinot Gris 2022
The palate shines with bright lemony and apple flavours with a crisp finish and clean acidity. A perfect all rounder and superbly friendly no matter what the occasion.
Pinot Gris pairs best with light, fresh flavours. Think summery dishes like salads, chicken and seafood, as well as light pasta dishes and risottos, and avoid heavy sauces in favour of creams and vinaigrettes.
Tyrrells Old Winery Shiraz 2023
Deep red in colour with a bright purple rim. A smooth, soft and spicy red wine with aromas of dark ripe fruit and subtle vanillin oak. The palate is full of rich shiraz flavours and is supported by firm tannins which provide good length and complexity.
