The Cafetto Spectra Descaling Powder is an eco-friendly powder descaler that visually indicates whether a descaling cycle has been successful using pH-sensitive dye compounds. Pour into the water tank (if the machine has a water filter, remove this prior to turning the machine on).Place a cup under the coffee dispenser and run 120mL of solution through the machine. Run 60mL out through the steam wand.Leave the descaler in the machine for 15 minutes before running the remaining descaling solution through the machine. Ensure the steam wand is purged by turning the steam on for at least 20 seconds.The descaling solution exiting the machine should be orange, indicating the descaling cycle has been effective. If the solution is blue, run another descaling cycle by repeating steps 1-4.Rinse thoroughly by flushing one tank of clean fresh water through the system, as well as through the steam wand.

Directions:

Add 25g to 500mL of water and dissolve to form an orange solution. Pour into the water tank (if the machine has a water filter, remove this prior to turning the machine on).

In order to give you peace of mind when shopping with us we offer a hassle free returns and exchange policy so you can return any purchased item within 14 days from the date of your order. We can provide an Alternative Brewing store credit, refund or exchange for another item, where the returned item is subject to the following conditions:

The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.

All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.
