Compact plants with solid red heads approx 1-1.8 kg in weight. Crisp with a good flavour and can also be used in mesclun mixes. The heads hold well and resist splitting. 60-120 days to maturity.
Cabbages need correct timing of planting to form correctly.
Sow late summer- early autumn in most climates, in tropical and sub tropical zones sow in Autumn-Winter. Best to sow going towards the coolest time of the year. Avoid hot weather.
Prefer sunny position, sow 5mm deep, emerge 7-14 days
