(Beta vulgaris) - Untreated Seed

Cylindrical variety, smooth dark red roots up to 20cm long. Tender with sweet flavour. Popular root vegetable. Fast growing, bi-annual, easy to grow. Sow direct in garden. 60 days to maturity. Keep moist in fertile well drained, sunny position. Use in salads, soups, cooked or preserved.
