Spindle Bar is used in circumstances where the door furniture piece is face-fixed to the door. When a door handle or knob is face-fixed to a door, the pulling force is transmitted to the backplate or rose on the door furniture rather than the spindle, therefore no additional gripping of the spindle is necessary.

Spindle Bar Function - made from mild steel that connects two Door Handles or Door Knobs together on either side of a door.
