Once the Citronella Bark Collar is charged and appropriately adjusted, its usage is fully automated. When the collar is placed around the dog's neck, it identifies the vibrations produced by the vocal cords and then releases a gentle mist of the citronella blend towards the lower jaw area. As a result, the unexpected sensation of the mist and scent helps distract your dog from excessive barking.

Whether your dog is a German Shepherd or a Chihuahua, the citronella bark collar is adjustable to fit most sizes and breeds. Typically, the collar is positioned just under your dog's jawline.
Once the collar is in place, tighten the tension so that it doesn't move from side to side, but don't make it too tight. Then move the collar up and down slightly to ensure that it's correctly positioned.
The device isn’t used for punishing behaviour, rather encouraging a specific type of behaviour. It’s also wise to choose a block of time in which to use the collar, and it’s not recommended leaving it on all day. We often see the collars being used at night or during special events that cause excessive barking during 8-10 hour windows.
The collar is even more effective when it’s combined with other positive reinforcement training for your dog. Keep in mind that every dog will learn differently. For some dogs, it is a quick process to teach them to stop excessive barking. For other dogs, they may need a few more sessions with a bark collar to nip that excessive barking in the bud.

Hazardous materials: Any items containing flammable liquids or other hazardous substances.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:
Books or pet training guides with obvious signs of use.
Opened media items such as CDs, DVDs, software, or video games.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, such as your credit card. The completion of this transaction will depend on the processing time set by the payment company.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email.
Shipping returns
To return your product, contact our customer care team for instructions.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
