The BarkTec(R) Citronella Bark Training Spray Collar was designed to assist the training of stubborn and excessive barking, in most dogs, safely and effectively. How it Works

When it detects barking it shoots a small burst of air at the dogs lower jaw. Most dogs will be instantly distracted from whatever they were barking at due to this burst of air and quickly associate it with their bark.
