With the ability to scan A3-size documents, the AV5400 excels in capturing complete book spreads, two letter-sized pages simultaneously, large-format magazines, legal documents, photographs, and more, all in stunning color.
Fast Duplex Scanning
This high-speed scanner features a 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) that supports paper sizes from 5.8" x 8.3" to A3 (11.7" x 16.5"). It achieves impressive scanning speeds of up to 50 pages per minute (ppm) and 100 images per minute (ipm) in black and white at 300 dpi.
Multiple Image Cropping Feature
The AV5400 includes a convenient multiple image cropping function, allowing you to place various document sizes—such as photos, ID cards, and business cards—on the flatbed. The scanner can crop and create multiple images in one scan based on the original sizes.
Eco-Friendly LED Technology
This scanner not only delivers high throughput and performance but is also environmentally friendly. The LED technology eliminates warm-up time and reduces power consumption while avoiding mercury vapor emissions common in traditional CCFL scanners.
Comprehensive Software Suite
The AV5400 comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers and is bundled with a powerful suite of software applications, including Avision Button Manager V2, AvScan 5.0, and ScanSoft PaperPort 11SE. With Button Manager V2, you can easily scan to searchable PDF, JPEG, BMP, or GIF formats, save to your computer, and send directly to email or cloud applications like Google Docs and Microsoft SharePoint at the touch of a button. AvScan V5 and ScanSoft PaperPort enhance image processing and document management for improved efficiency.
