The frame is built with reinforced steel construction while the wooden arched slat frame helps to distribute weight evenly across the framework. Heavy-duty connectors are used throughout the frame to increase its durability and reliability with long -term robust use. And for an elegant finish, the bed frame is padded with high-density foam and upholstered with premium linen fabric. Best of all, the bed frame comes with a gas-lift storage system where you will find acres of space underneath the slatted frame to store all your bedroom and home essentials. And if so desired, the bed frame can be matched with our complementary bed head for a complete look. The bed frame is designed to fit standard Australian-sized mattress.

    • I have never been able to use it as intended, at first I thought I was not applying enough pressure, my brothers tried to push the bed closed with the mattress on top and it still would not close. I ended up having to remove the struts and every time I need to access anything I need someone stronger to lift the mattress so I can get what I need. The bed itself is lovely, just really disappointed that the struts didn't work. As I had already put the entire bed together I did not want to take it all apart again to return it.

    • The gas lifts don't work. The base is not quite large enough for the queen mattress. However, the lift still works. The quality of everything else is great. Will do for now but would not buy 2 more like I thought I would.
