Ever feel like you're breathing in more than just air at home? Dust, pet dander, pollen, those lingering cooking smells... it's all floating around in your indoor air, and let's be honest, nobody wants that. Luckily, we've got the answer: air purifiers! These nifty devices are like tiny clean-air superheroes, sucking up all the nasties and leaving you with fresh, breathable air.
Our range of air purifiers suits every need and budget, so you can find the perfect one to keep your air sparkling clean and your lungs happy.
Dehumidifiers vs Air Purifiers
Air Purifiers:
-
Work to remove pollutants and allergens from the air, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, and smoke particles. They use filters to trap these particles and circulate cleaner air back into the room.
-
They're best for people with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to airborne particles. They're also great for general air quality improvement and reducing odours.
Dehumidifiers:
-
Remove excess moisture from the air. This helps to prevent mould and mildew growth, reduce dust mites (which thrive in humid environments), and make the air feel more comfortable.
-
People living in humid climates or homes with dampness issues will find these helpful. They're also good for preventing mould growth and reducing musty odours.
If you are confused about which device you need, here's what you need to think about. You need to consider if your main concern is airborne particles (allergens, dust, etc) or if it's excess moisture and mould. Based on these concerns you can decide whether you need an air purifier or dehumidifier.
However, if you are dealing with both problems then get both devices. You can use both to improve the indoor air quality. They address different aspects of air quality, so they can work well together.
Types of Air Purifiers
HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) Filters
These are the gold standard for removing any airborne particles. This filter is almost like a very fine mesh and can supposedly trap particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores and some bacteria. HEPA filters are great for people with allergies, asthma or sensitivities to dust and other airborne particles. Keep in mind, that HEPA filters might not be the best option if you are looking for something that removes gases and odours as well.
Activated Carbon Filters
Made from materials like charcoal that have been treated to create a large surface area. This surface area adsorbs gases and odours such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke and pet odours. These filters are best for removing odours and are often used in combination with HEPA filters.
UV-C (Ultraviolet-C) Light
Can kill some bacteria, viruses, and mould spores. Air is passed over a UV-C lamp, and the light damages the DNA of these microorganisms. They are often used in combination with other filtration methods.
Ionic Air Purifiers
They release negative ions into the air. These ions attach to airborne particles, giving them a negative charge. These negatively charged particles are then attracted to surfaces or to each other, making them heavier and causing them to settle out of the air.
Combination Air Purifiers
Many air purifiers use a combination of these technologies. For example, a common setup is a HEPA filter combined with an activated carbon filter. This allows the purifier to remove both particles and odours/gases.
Best Air Purifiers for Your Home
Clean air is a necessity and finding the best air purifier for your home is essential. For most people, a HEPA filter air purifier is the best choice for general air quality improvement. If you have specific concerns about odours or gases, look for a purifier that also includes an activated carbon filter.
Air purifiers are especially great for people who have pets. So, take a look at the range we offer and find the one that suits your needs the best. In addition, we offer air diffusers, humidifiers and air treatment accessories as well.

It is nice and quite on sleep mode, however I don't feel it picks up the vocs very often and then run on high speed. I have a resiners air purifier in my craft room and i dont need to be doing any craft but it goes to high mode when someone is cooking on the gas stove. Big price difference though between the to machines.

I purchased 2 of these for my son and I. He has suffered from allergies since he was a baby and he is happy with it. On bad days with a lot of pollen etc I'll put it on shut up the house and it makes the air very good. Also great to get of yukky air after cooking. Recently I've started getting allergic to a neighbouring tree and this helps immensely with it stopping itching and runny nose etc. Its not super quite but it does a good job. The extra filter is a great bonus and a bargain financially.

The air purifier seems to be working fine, but the LED panel is so bright at night that it is very annoying. It is like leaving your bedroom light on. The green dome light would be less annoying, and turning off or dimming the panel would be better.

It's super quiet on the night control. I don't know if it's doing anything for better breathing, I'm sure it is but I can't tell.
