Let us get this straight. The chair, the mechanism, the lift and recline, the size and the assembly is all pretty good. For the price you pay this is absolutely awesome. However, when you buy cheaper product, you do compromise somewhere. The compromise here is the cushioning. The cushioning along the leg area when the chair is reclined is absolutely negligible, so much so that when you are in a reclined position the frames hurts your calfs. The cushioning along the back is great but again the cushioning of the seat, however thick it may seems is very thin and so is the same on the armrest. Looks great, don't get me wrong but you can feel the wooden frame of the armrest from the soft sponge and you will need a pillow as an extra cushioning when you sit. For the price, it is a good buy but not the best. If you are really desperate and on budget like me, buy it or else spend over a $1000 and buy something better from reputed furniture shop.

Very happy with the purchase. The chair seems very good quality for the price and suits my 98 year old Mum perfectly. It’s not too big for her room in the nursing home that she has recently moved into and the seller was very easy to deal with.
