The new generation of type II cartridges (Model No. 58503), which come with anti-microbial filter paper in light blue color, different from original type II cartridges (Model No. 58094).

These 58503 filter cartridges have anti-microbial filter paper which helps control the growth of bacteria.

They have been tested to protect against Staph infection, E. Coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
