Genuine Mountain Air Carbon Filter - 300MM(12" Inch) x 1000MM | 1390CFM

MountainAir carbon is derived from an allocthonous, subbituminous black coal deposited in the Devonian Period in a PreCambrian formation within the Collie Basin over 230 million years ago. It is the planet's oldest coal. It has extremely low ash content. Trace element discrimination demonstrates it to be physically and chemically unique.

This feedstock is steam activated in the presence of large concentrations of particular gases that affect the activation process in a certain way. The result is an irregularly shaped activated carbon granule predominated by mesopores in a physical distribution which is absolutely ideal for adsorption of volatile organic compounds as well as other associated odorous particles.

MountainAir filters will remove most VOCs of less than 30 microns, including acetone & acetate compounds, alcohol compounds (butyl base, ethyl base, methyl base & propyl base), animal odors, benzene compounds, cooking odors (low humidity), diesel fumes, epoxy resin odors, glue odours, paint odors, all plant odors, pollens, some poisons, odor-bearing smoke particles, and most welding fumes. MountainAir filters are less efficient at removing large smoke particles but are extremely efficient at preventing and/or minimizing smoke damage to fabrics etc.

You can use two main fan types with the MountainAir ® Filter.

Mixed-Flow Fan
Centrifugal fan
A third common fan type is the radial fan. This type is not suitable for use with the MountainAir® Filter as it is meant to be used in free-flowing or near free-flowing situations

Just like a fine wine, manufacturing the perfect carbon filter for a given application requires particular attention to every tiny detail. Just like flowering plants, MountainAir® filters work best if the air passing through is kept within these specifications:

Temperature: less than 32C (90F)
Relative Humidity: less than 80%

Black PVC Coated Dual Layer Air Duct - 5 Meters | 315MM (12" Inch) | Ventilation

This air duct uses mylar and wire construction for durability and maneuverability. It's capable of handling temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius and will not kink.

Noise Reducer Clamp - 317MM (12" Inch)

These clamps are used with fans, silencers, reflectors, carbon filters and ductings. The soft rubber lining makes for a tight and vibration free fit.

Quick Release Clamp - 317MM (12" Inch)

Quick release stainless steel hose clamps. Just release the tension on the screw and flip up to instantly release the clamp. Allows for easy removal of the clamp for quicker flex duct removal when cleaning the glass in your air cooled fixture or accessing your lamp.

Change of mind

Regarding changes of mind, Hydro Experts facilitates refunds on product prices while applying a restocking fee of 10% for orders within 30 days and 15% for orders beyond that period, provided the products remain unopened, unused, and in their original packaging. To initiate this process, customers are encouraged to utilize the Resolution Centre in their account or directly contact us.

Customers are responsible for shipping the product back to our address at their expense, ensuring it retains its original packaging and remains unused to qualify for a refund, store credit, or replacement. Upon inspection by our staff and confirmation of eligibility for a refund, store credit, or replacement, the applicable option will be provided. Please note that restocking fees are applicable in this process.

Manufacture Defect and Couriers Damage

In the event of a manufacturing defect, Hydro Experts stands behind its products by offering a full refund or replacement of the faulty item. We strongly advise customers to inspect their delivered products promptly. Should any defects be detected, we urge customers to notify us immediately, preferably with accompanying photographic evidence for swift resolution. Upon contact, we will provide customers with pre-paid shipping labels, relieving them of any shipping costs. Once our staff verifies the defect, eligible customers will receive a refund, store credit or a replacement.

Customer Damage

Regrettably, Hydro Experts cannot assume responsibility for products damaged due to customer mishandling, such as breakage, dropping, or spillage. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges in such cases.

Damage / Incorrect / Missing Products

While we take utmost care in packaging orders, instances of damage or incorrect or missing items may occur. We encourage affected customers to notify us immediately, accompanied by photographic evidence where possible. In the case of incorrect products, we request prompt notification to facilitate timely replacements or refunds.

Shipping Issues or Delays

In rare instances of shipping issues, such as loss in transit, Hydro Experts commits to providing a full refund or replacement. Customers will be promptly informed of any delays, and we will liaise with the courier service to address the situation. Refunds, store credit, or replacements are contingent upon confirmation by the courier of lost items.

Unclaimed Returns

In the event of unclaimed parcels, customers will be charged the original postage price to cover courier expenses incurred for returns left unclaimed at their collection centre
