The Kettle Kone to Suit Standard 22'' Weber Kettle BBQ is an accessory for a standard size 22'' Weber kettle also referred to as the original kettle. The vortex created by the kettle kone that is placed on the charcoal grill in your Weber BBQ acts like an air fryer. This will change your approach to BBQ and will give you another style of cooking in your Weber.

Instructions for using a Kettle Kone in your Weber BBQ:

Insert the kettle in the centre of your charcoal grill with the opening at the top. this setup will turn your Weber kettle into a dry fryer that will give your chicken a nice crispy skin. It prevents your meat from burning and stops flare-ups.
If you are cooking steaks, place the large opening up. This allows you to cook the steak around the outside of your grill and then finish it with a sear right over the cone.
Make sure all the vents on the top and bottom of the Kettle BBQ are fully opened to allow maximum airflow.
Prelight some lump charcoal or BBQ briquettes in a chimney starter and pour them into your kettle cone. Wait until the charcoal is ashed before placing the grill in place.
Alternatively, place 3 firelighters in the base of the cone, light them, and then fill the cone up with charcoal or briquettes.
Put some smoking chips or wood in the centre over the top of the Kone if you are also after a smokey flavour
Line the perimeter of your cooking grill in your weber kettle with chicken wings or your meat of choice.
Close the lid then sit back and wait. It's also a good idea to rotate your lid about a 1/4 turn every 15 minutes to ensure you have an even temperature all around.

Charcoal pans inside spit roasters are designed to take the brunt of the heat to protect the structural integrity of the spit roaster body. Due to the extreme heat generated when cooking with briquettes/charcoal, some bending of the pan is inevitable and will occur regardless of the thickness of the steel. This is not covered under warranty.
