Most corals kept in aquariums are photosynthetic and rely on light for a considerable portion of their energy needs. Natural corals favour colours in the blue spectrum because when water depth increases, the reds, oranges, and yellows are gradually filtered out, leaving more blue light. So for optimal coral growth, you will generally want a full spectrum of light that includes some reds, oranges, and yellows, but that is heavier towards the blue range.

The JOME range of Aquarium Marine Lights is equipped with a soft touch external controllable power switch which enables you to control the intensity of the light. The switch also controls the different channels of light options. Tab the switch and you cycle through the settings options. Hold your finger on the switch and reduce or increase intensity.
