Now we know this sounds like the end of the road for your Dyson vacuum cleaner, but it doesn't have to be. The motor is the heart of the vacuum cleaner; when replaced, the vacuum cleaner can efficiently perform like new again.
What may have caused the motor to burn out?
Especially if your Dyson vacuum cleaner is not very old like the DC39, you may be wondering what may have caused this motor to stop working. Whilst there is no one answer to this question, a couple of common causes can be listed.

WARRANTY RETURNS
If an item is deemed faulty by the manufacturer your item will either be replaced or repaired. Any postage costs incurred will be covered by us.

You will be responsible for postage if there is no fault with the product and you wish to return it, unless it is very different from the description or wrongly recommended to you by us.

Tools, accessories and consumables including dust bags and filters, floor tools, extension cords unless defective in manufacture, are not subject to warranty.
In order to prolong the life of accessories and consumables, regular care and maintenance is recommended.

In accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, if the product has a minor fault, we are required to repair the fault and send it back to you. If we believe the fault cannot be repaired, you will be sent a replacement product that matches your original purchase. If we are unable to repair or replace your faulty item, you will be refunded the total of your purchase amount.
We endeavor to rectify the matter within a reasonable timeframe.
