Shatavari:
Asparagus Racemosus (Shatavari) good for bleeding disorders - Shatavari is useful in the management of menorrhagia, helps improve breast milk production and has anti-aging qualities. Known for its aphrodisiac qualities, Shatavari aids in improving both male and female fertility issues. Additionally, Shatavari is also helpful for digestive issues, has anti-inflammatory properties and is beneficial to eye health. In Ayurveda, Shatavari has energetics which are sweet and bitter in taste, cold in potency, has a sweet post-digestive effect (PDE), has heavy and oily qualities, and helps to balance both Vata and Pitta doshas.
Indian Madder:
Rubia Cordifolia (Indian Madder, Manjishtha) is effective in managing gynecological blood disorders such as excessive bleeding and irregular bleeding. Best known as a blood purifier, Manjistha is also good for managing
liver and spleen disorders. In Ayurveda, Manjistha has energetics which are bitter, astringent and sweet, with a hot potency, and a pungent post-digestion effect (PDE), with heavy and dry qualities. Manjistha balances Kapha and Pitta doshas. Part used: Root. Dosage 2-4g.
Kumari:
Aloe Vera (Kumari) is known for its versatile qualities in supporting all bodily systems. Aloe vera is effective for helping to regulating periods, ovulation, amenorrhea, supports treatment of fibroids and has aphrodisiac properties. Additionally Aloe vera also has anti-ageing properties, acts as a rejuvenator, is very effective for treating gut related issues, helps to manage liver and spleen enlargement, helps treat diverticulitis, lymphadenitis and tumours.
