Pyohex Medicated Shampoo and Leave in lotion is a topical antibacterial shampoo to aid in the treatment of superficial dermatitis.Formulated to remove dirt and scale, degrease the skin and kill the cutaneous micro-organisms that primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis.

Indications
For primary or secondary Pyoderma caused by bacteria
As an adjunct to treatment for demodectic mange and other deep pyodermas
As a preventative for recurrent pyodermas
German Shephard Furunculosi
Does not irritate or dry like a Chlorhexidine scrub

Actions
The Chlorhexidine in Pyohex works by binding to hair and penetrating the follicle via a wicking action down the hair shaft, to eliminate bacteria in situ. Chlorhexidine kills bacteria by disrupting the cell membrane and precipitating the cell contents
Pyohex binds strongly to the skin and hair, resulting in a 4 day residual action. As Chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed through the skin, Pyohex is completely safe
Pyohex contains an advanced surfactant base that removes abnormal lipids that occur due to bacterial lipases. Pyohex does not dry or strip the coat of essential lipids needed to prevent transepidermal water loss, a process that promotes infection
Pyohex is pH neutral, specifically designed for canine skin

Parcels are delivered usually between 3-7 business days after ordering depending on location. Pet Station tries to ensure that all products are delivered in a prompt and timely manner. However, from time to time, it is possible that shipping and other factors outside of our control may result in delays.

Pet Station reserves the right not to ship to remote or rural locations. If you are located in a remote or rural area & you place an order we will contact you to try work out a solution for you, we may be able to deliver your parcel to a town near you. If we are unable to find a solution you will be issued with a full refund.

Change of Mind:

Pet Station will accept any new and unused purchase returned within 30-days of purchase for a refund or exchange (excluding freight charges) Any goods returned for a refund or exchange must be in the original packaging and in a saleable condition, accompanied by the original invoice number, date of purchase and reason for return.
