Also known as the Asian black bear and the white-chested bear, the moon bear is a fairly small bear found throughout Asia that has adapted to living in trees. Unlike many other bear species, their body shape is more akin to prehistoric bears than it is to modern ones.

Characteristics:Although moon bears avoid confrontation with humans, like most animals, they can still be very dangerous and are best studied with our figurines rather than up close! Size and Color: Like this figurine, moon bears are predominantly black with a light brown muzzle and have a distinct patch on their chest and chin. Measuring 4.5 inches long and 2.25 inches tall, our moon bear model is an inch longer than a deck of cards stood on its side.

History:

Although moon bears are classified as omnivores, they are predominantly more carnivorous than most other bear species. They primarily feed on things like larvae, termites, grubs, and bees, but have been known to also eat nuts, mushrooms, grasses, fruits, and seeds. Because they produce something called bear bile, which is sought after in many different Asian cultures, moon bears have been severely over hunted and are now classified as vulnerable on the conservation stats spectrum.

Change of Mind Returns: We may provide you with a product exchange or refund only when we receive the returned product. You are responsible for payment of return postage on your order.

Customer should cover the return shipping for change of mind purchases, if the item is still new, unused and sealed in original packaging a full refund will be processed once item is returned. ( Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving the order)

Address Changes: If you enter the incorrect name or shipping address details and the item is returned to us via Australia Post, you will be subject to a RTS(return to sender) fee. You will also be responsible for reshipping charge

Return process: If you have a problem with your goods, please contact us within 14 days after receiving the order. We will investigate your issues and advise whether your product may be returned and how to return your goods.

Once an item is returned we will either inspect your goods and investigate any claimed defect or in some cases, send the goods to third parties for assessment and/or repair.

If we do not believe a remedy is applicable upon inspecting your goods (for example, where we believe the goods have been misused, or there was a failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, used it in an abnormal way or there has been a failure to take reasonable care), we will reject your claim and return your goods to you. You must cover the cost of return shipping in order to receive goods we have rejected on inspection, and we will provide you with instructions on how to make this payment.
Any refunds will be issued using the payment method used for purchase. We aim to process refunds and replacements within 14 days after receiving the order.
