Over two decades ago, Enduro Bearings revolutionized the biking industry with the introduction of MAX-type bearings, specifically tailored for bicycles to overcome the challenges linked with mountain bike pivots. These MAX-type bearings stand out by offering a remarkable 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. They achieve this through a distinctive design that maximizes the insertion of balls into the bearing via a custom ground slot in the races. The added balls, in combination with deep race grooves, deliver enhanced lateral support, adeptly managing the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots.

The MAX-type ABEC-3 bearing, in Black-Oxide finish, embodies deep-groove design races paired with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals. This configuration ensures maximum safeguarding against external elements while retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside. Additionally, the Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating further bolsters corrosion resistance, extending worry-free performance.
