About 20 years ago, Enduro Bearings introduced MAX-type bearings in response to challenges encountered with mountain bike pivots. These innovative MAX-type bearings offer a remarkable 35-40% increase in load capacity compared to standard radial bearings. Achieving this enhanced performance involves a unique design where the maximum number of balls is incorporated into the bearing through a custom ground slot in the races. These bearings also feature deep race grooves, providing substantial lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces commonly associated with mountain bike pivots.
The ABEC-3 bearing is equipped with deep-groove design races, Grade 10 balls, and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals, ensuring maximum protection against the elements while retaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease.
Several bicycle brands, including Orbea, have utilized this bearing as a suspension pivot bearing, testifying to its quality and effectiveness.
Enduro's comprehensive line of bearings encompasses high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. All our bearings are meticulously engineered with the deepest possible groove races to accommodate the largest balls, and they feature dual-lip seals that travel within a micro-groove, creating a complete labyrinth for superior protection against environmental elements.
All orders, excluding bikes, are dispatched within 24 business hours from our Darra Warehouse. Bikes will be dispatched within approximately 4-5 working days.
