The Enduro ABEC-5 radial bearings incorporate 52100 high-carbon chromium alloy races alongside grade 10 Balls. At Enduro, our engineers prioritize deeper grooves in all our radial bearings to accommodate the largest balls feasible, maximizing bearing contact area and significantly extending bearing lifespan. Tailored explicitly for bicycle applications, these bearings utilize an LLU/LLB seal combination. The outer-facing grey LLU seal wards off water or dirt, reducing contamination, while the inward-facing black LLB seals with lighter contact maintain the 90% fill of Mobil XHP 222 high-pressure grease effectively.
This bearing size is commonly utilized as a hub bearing and also adaptable as a pivot bearing, although the MAX-type variant is better suited for suspension use.
Within the Enduro bearing lineup, options span high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings consistently integrate the deepest possible groove races to accommodate the largest balls achievable. Additionally, they feature dual-lip seals navigating within micro-grooves, establishing a comprehensive labyrinth for superior protection against environmental elements.
